Arnstein Bjone
Jeg er stor fan av Gary Taubes. (og Andreas ) Punkt nummer 1 av Taubes 10 konklusjoner i boka The Diet Dillution er: "Dietary fat, whether saturated or not, is not a cause of obesity, heart disease, or any other chronic disease of civilization ." Her er litt bakgrunnstoff/linker for min tvil: eHow.com: "Risks While partially hydrogenated oils cost less and last longer than regular cooking oil, some cities -- including New York City and Calgary -- ban them from restaurants. In Europe, entire countries have banned or strictly regulated partially hydrogenated oils, noting the far-reaching relationship between trans fats and high cholesterol." Wikipedia, trans fat (Svensk Wikipedia-artikkel her) "In lack of recognized evidence and scientific agreement, nutritional authorities consider all trans fats as equally harmful for health and recommend that consumption of trans fats be reduced to trace amounts" DAVID SCHLEIFER The Perfect Solution How Trans Fats Became the Healthy Replacement for Saturated Fats
